I got windows 7 last month and couldn't get my uninstalled fonts to show up. I asked around and here's what I learned.
First you will need Font Viewer for windows 7. Download here
When you need to use a font you open up font viewer and highlight the font you want. Then open your font as usual and it will show up for you. Very simple but confusing when you first get windows 7 because you can't get them to show up lol.
